Hey y’all! I’m Vallan, owner and creator of The Lucky KuB Co! Let me tell you a little of our backstory.

I’m just a small town girl from Nacogdoches, Texas. I studied Journalism & Advertising at Stephen F. Austin State University and graduated in 2007 with a B.A. in Communications Journalism. I absolutely love graphic design. It is my true passion. I also love photography, but only as a hobby!

In 2013, I decided to open up an Etsy shop, while staying home with my daughter, to give myself an outlet for my creativity and to earn a little extra money for our family. I never knew how much that little ‘ole business I started all those years ago would turn into. I am truly grateful for all of my clients. 

 

Some may wonder exactly how a Journalism major started making baby books. Well, it's a long story. See, I actually made appointment books and planners originally. But I'm one of those people who can pretty much do it all if I need to. My little sister was pregnant with my nephew and I was struggling to figure out what to get them for her baby shower. So I looked around my small office at home, and it just popped in my head! I was going to make her a personalized baby book! Everyone loved it so much, that they kept asking if I sold them. So I figured, why not?!

I realize there are so many baby books out there in the market, but what makes mine stand out, is that they are fully personalized! And it doesn't help that they are hand-made with lots of love from yours truly! I can pretty much design anything, so if you're looking for a certain theme to go with your nursery, I'm your girl!
